Lovells has released two GVM upgrade options - the 3650kg Touring kit and the 3900kg Platinum kit - both designed to safely increase payload, improve stability and keep the Prado legal once you start loading it with drawers, barwork, and dual batteries.

Whether you're setting up for family road trips or building a serious off-road tourer, these packages give the 250 Series Prado the muscle it needs.

3650kg Lovells GVM Upgrade for Prado 250 Series

Lovells’ 3650kg Touring GVM Upgrade is the practical, everyday solution for Prado 250 owners who need more payload without going overboard. It bumps the OE GVM from 3100–3200kg up to 3650kg, while also increasing the GCM to 6800kg.

WHAT THIS UPGRADE DELIVERS

  • Lovells GVM: 3650kg

  • Front Axle: 1605kg (same as OE)

  • Rear Axle: 2045kg (up from OE 1860kg)

  • Towing Capacity: 3500kg (unchanged)

  • GCM: 6800kg (up from OE 6600kg)

The Touring kit is ideal for owners who carry moderate loads day-to-day. Like drawers, fridge, bull bar - with a major improvement in stability and compliance.
