THE REAL PROBLEM
THE RAPTOR WAS BUILT FOR POWER...NOT PAYLOAD
The Next-Gen Ranger Raptor is one of the most capable performance utes on the market. But it wasn't designed with payload in mind. The factory GVM of 3130kg leaves very little room once you add two adults, a full tank, a bar, and any gear in the tub.
For Raptor owners who actually use it for weekend trips or towing — that payload ceiling is a genuine problem. A Lovells Fusion GVM upgrade adds 420kg of legal payload without compromising what makes the Raptor special.
WHY LOVELLS FUSION
THE ONLY GVM BUILT AROUND THE RAPTOR'S FACTORY SUSPENSION
The reason the Raptor was locked out of GVM upgrades for so long is the factory FOX Live Valve suspension. Most GVM kits replace the factory dampers — but on the Raptor, those dampers are the whole point. Replacing them means losing the Raptor's signature ride quality and off-road capability.
Lovells engineered the Fusion kit specifically around the Live Valve system. Heavy duty coil springs front and rear — designed, tested, and manufactured in Australia — that work with the factory FOX dampers, not against them. The result is a federally approved GVM upgrade that increases your legal payload and leaves the rest of the Raptor exactly as it should be.

There is one kit, one stage, one outcome — 3,550kg GVM. Lovells have engineered this specifically for the Next-Gen Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 Twin Turbo from September 2022. It is the only federally approved GVM upgrade available for this vehicle in Australia.

Taking delivery of a new Ranger Raptor? Get the GVM upgrade sorted before you register it.
Done before the vehicle is first registered. Federally approved under Second Stage Manufacture (SSM) — VTA-065903. Recognised across all Australian states and territories. This is the cleanest and most straightforward path.
GCM & TOWING
LOOKING TO TOW WITH YOUR RAPTOR?
The Lovells Fusion kit also revises the Raptor's GCM — from 5,370kg up to 5,900kg. That's more combined weight available when you're towing, which matters if you're running the Raptor at or near its new GVM limit.
Towing capacity stays at the OE spec of 2,500kg — this GVM upgrade doesn't change that. But the GCM revision gives you more legal room to run a loaded Raptor and a trailer at the same time without hitting the combined limit.
