Exceeding your legal GVM doesn't just affect how the vehicle drives — it can void your insurance and put serious strain on your stock suspension. A certified GVM upgrade increases your legal payload, restores proper ride height under load, and keeps the LC200 compliant on Queensland roads.

200 SERIES LANDCRUISER GVM UPGRADE OPTIONS
No two 200 Series builds are the same. Some are set up for long-range touring, others are towing a van full-time, and plenty are doing both.
BAW is a certified installer for Lovells and Tough Dog GVM upgrades for the LandCruiser 200 Series, each offering different GVM ratings to suit how you use it.

TOWING AFTER A GVM UPGRADE - WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Upgrading your vehicle’s GVM can increase how much weight you can legally carry — but when you’re towing, your GCM (Gross Combination Mass) still sets the overall limit.
This tool shows how the weight of your vehicle and trailer combine to reach your GCM limit.

Lovells also offer a standalone BTC upgrade for the LandCruiser 200 Series that increases your braked towing capacity from 3,500kg to 4,000kg, with GCM going from 6,800kg to 7,800kg. It's compatible with Lovells 3,800kg, 4,000kg, and 4,200kg GVM kits — so you can increase what the vehicle carries and what it can legally tow at the same time.
Please note: BTC upgrade is not available on petrol models, and GCM revisions may not be available post-registration in all states.
